Ambience is a student group dedicated to glove lightshows. The UC Berkeley chapter was the first to be established, and chapters have been established across the US. Gloving is an art form and a style of dance that primarily involves manipulation of fingers and hands with strobelights attached to mesmerize and entertain an audience. Ambience provides university students with a community that fosters the growth of their gloving skills and allows them to share those skills with others. In addition, Ambience collaborates with other student groups on campus to perform at showcases and philanthropic events.
