Eoin Harrington

Singer/Songwriter Eoin Harrington was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland before making his home in San Francisco a few years back. He left the fields of Chemical Engineering and Mathematics to pursue music and start his social tech company. He is a clasically trained multi instrumentalist, producer and engineer. His album, Story, has been met with critical acclaim in the States and in Europe, a string of sold out shows and front page write ups by newspapers like the SF Chronicle. He has performed with The Pussy Cat Dolls, The Fray, The Counting Crows, Alanis Morissette, Train, Sara Bareilles, Brandi Carlile and many others. He has recently completed a US tour and has made several European performances including a show for the President of Ireland.

The track ñAddictedî from ñSTORYî is in regular rotation on several national radio stations in Ireland and is receiving a great response.

He released an EP at the end of last year entitled New Years Day, the title track of which received a great reception across Ireland.

His New album is coming out in this Summer with a cd release party taking place at YoshiÍs in San Francisco.
In the bay area, you might have heard Eoin during one of his many appearances on KFOG, KGO, NPR, Alice and KRON4.

He has written songs for the MGM global release ñHer Best Moveî and scored the complete soundtrack for ñLove on the Lineî to be released this year.

Eoin has teamed up with the Hardrock Cafe to raise money for cancer research _ a cause close to his heart and the inspiration for his hit song, ñSo Wrong.î

He is very active in the music community and is on the Board of Governors of the Grammys. He is a prolific songwriter and has won multiple songwriting competitions and has twice received the award for best song in the Westcoast Songwriters contest.
